    Knee pads for 25" quads?

I'm a former bodybuilder getting back into mtb and having a hard time finding good knee protection that fits my 25" (64cm) quads.

I have some soft xc pads that I was able to stretch out and they somewhat fit but I need a little more protection after scratching my knees up on very light falls.

Any suggestions, preferably hard pads. Only suggestions I could find online were for "huge" 19" quads, everything I've tried on is not even close to fitting.

Is that what they consider "huge" quads? Thats nuts. Im currently losing weight (down 100lbs) and have 24.5" quads. Some of that is fat still for sure but the majority of it is muscle at this point. Maybe lose another inch at most. Thats kind of crazy!!

Ok so what kneepad do you use?

Bodyfat is a big factor in how huge the quad looks, 25" measured 2" above knee with paper thin skin is pretty big.

Sorry, I dont wear knee pads (I wasnt making fun, I was surprised that they are calling 19" quads huge, not that 25" arent)

For biking 19" is definitely huge and unfortunately that is about as big as good knee pads get. Might have to do some sewing myself to enlarge.

Slipping on tiny sharp clay rocks is not good for the knees lol
