    Inexpensive Button-Up Plaid Shirts

    Hello all,

Does anyone have recommendations for inexpensive (<$25 per shirt) button-up plaid shirts?

While shirts from Club Ride, Shimano, Zoic, Marmot, and others are nice (for moisture wicking and SPF protection), I can't afford (or justify) spending $75+ on one shirt.

Sorry if this has already been asked and answered - did see a few threads with similar information.

    Thanks

Outdoor stores often have items as good or better than much more expensive "bike specific" gear.

I've got 2 Club ride shirts and recently picked up a similar Wrangler SS shirt with buttons at Walmart fo $20 CDN.

If you don't mind hunting around a bit - I often can find some at the local thrift store. They're cheap, used and I don't mind getting grease on them since they didn't cost a mint.

Keep an eye on Sierra Trading Post as they get Club Ride stuff all the time. Actually just picked up a few riding jerseys from them for $23.99 a piece (normally $49+).

Thanks for the suggestions, everyone - much appreciated.

It's unfortunate biking specific clothing is ridiculously priced.

$7.77 100% cotton, pre washed, on sale.

    For $8.77

These are the ones I got, and they're great. Nice and light, but exorbitantly expensive at $24.99! They have snaps, so you can take them off like Superman.

I was in Sam's Club yesterday and they had a whole table of button up "jersey" style polyester/spandex blend shirts. Cheap too. Almost makes me want to go back and pick some up.

You ride in a plaid shirt or just looking for something comfortable to wear casually? I grabbed a nice looking and what would be comfy plaid from Walmart for like $10 recently but when I got home and tried it one...sleeves were quite tight. My fault for not trying on in the store and I do have bigger arms than the average person (19+") from weight lifting.
