    BMX shoes might work

With flats, it's really a matter of the pins on the flats that keep the soles of the feet on the pedals. In theory, any decent sports show with a flat bottom should work.

More agressive platform pedals (more pins)

    Shoes/Pedals..

I wear Five Tens with the Azonic Accelerator pedals...quite a combo. The shoes are so grippy you can't move them with out picking your feet up offf the pedals.

I fell one two many times with clipless (uphill of course), and the platforms have really helped me in that area. The Azonic pedals are pretty light weight and nice looking too!

I got my shoes at Zappos.com. They price match and the shipping is already included with the price.
