    If you had to choose...

I'm looking for opinions on knee pads. The ones that I am currently interested in are the Leatt Airflex Pro, Dianese Trail Skin 2 and the Kali Strike. Obviously there is a trend here in that I'd like the coolest knee pads that offer the most protection.

I've been riding MTB for about 4 years now and haven't used any pads before at all and I ride relatively aggressively. As I have no other pad experience I'd like to find something with decent comfort so that'll I'll actually wear them. I broke my wrist late last year and made me realize that maybe I'm not invincible after all

I personally find all the sleeve type too hot. I wear Fox Launch shorty pads. just straps on the back allow more air flow for me.

Hmm, that looks like a decent pad, but it seems as though it's meant for dirt biking instead of pedaling. Maybe something that I can look into for DH use.

I only wear them when I am doing harder technical trails. They are a bit bulky when you first put them on, but I rarely notice them once I start riding, and often forget I have them on by the end and try to get back in the car without taking them off.
As far as comfort, I tried the G-Form Pro-X pads, and they were very comfortable, but too hot. Of course, here in Florida, it is hard to use any pads in the summer.
