HID + LED Bar or Helmet

Here's the situation. I have a Cateye Double and Triple Shot and I'm borrowing a buddies Niterider Rage HID light. I mulling over in my head what would be the best combo. I'm going to try these combos tomrrow night.

Triple Shot on the Bars + HID on the Helmet
HID on the Bars + Double Shot on the Helmet

I'm thinking the first one is going to work out the best. The Triple shot throws out a nice wide pattern that will compliment the HID nicely I think.

Anybody else running a HID + LED setup? I'd like to hear your opnions.

    Helmet

I normaly use the Nite Rider HID on the helmet by it self. I wold recomend using that on the helmet and put tripple shot on the bars but don't be surprized if you cant even see the light from it.

I would also think that the the triple on the bars and the double on the helmet would be pretty good. Or the HID on the bars and the double on the head. Ifthe HIDis a wide flodd light, the the double wold throw a nice narrow spot further down the trail.
