    helmets

OK... aside from the obvious stats weight, # of vents. blah blah blah, Is there a reason why I need a mtb helmet as opposed to a road helment? The Giro Road helmets look better and are lighter in weight, fit pretty good too. but who cares about looks right. I'll be whizzing by soooooooooo fast no one will see the helmet anyway...

Fit is most important. Second is fit. Third is fit.

I also like a helmet with good head coverage. Most upper end helmets, road and mtn, are cut too high IMO.

the only difference between the 2 is vent shape. so yeah, grab one that fits, whether it be road or mtn.

for what it's worth, i ride with a Giro Pneumo.
