    Helmet Question

Due to a slight situation, I broke my Giro Atmos helmet (as well as a fractured scapula and fractured ribs) so need a new helmet. Anyone using the Fox Flux? I've read reviews, but it's far different here in AZ with our upcoming heat, so put more stock in your opinions. After my little "episode" I was looking at different ones, and like the extra coverage in back the Flux has. If you've used or are using one, how is the heat factor? Does it seem hotter than others?

    Thanks

Bought mine last March so I've had a whole summer to evaluate it. The helmet has good ventilation and keeps your noggin' nice and cool even with the extra coverage.

I think the Giro Xen is the best fitting helmet I have ever used, road or dirt. I have not tried the Fox. The Xen straps are part of the shell, which, IMO, makes it the best helmet I have ever had.

Giro Hex: extra coverage, great fit, excellent ventilation (Moab UT last July) and easy on the wallet.
