I always wear my helmet! And I always see people on national w/o helmets. I just don't get it. Here is a past helmet poll of sorts.

Depends on the type of riding for most people I think.

    DH/FR = fullface
    Dirt jumping= mix
    trail riding = regular

Assuming you are talking about trail riding I would bet the percentage of regular helmets is like 95%. I see very few (there are some though) wearing full face helmets on trail rides. Putting safety aside, it's too damn hot here for extra stuff on your head

Full face 95% the time. Light and ventilated is the key.

I use to be 50/50 between full face and a bowling ball helmet. But after crashing last sat. i'm going to roll with the full face. Except at the skate park.

    Like everyone else, it depends.
Long ride with lots of climbing - regular lid. Although I have this now:

Most anything else - full face moto helmet.

I noticed that during the Kavu sighting! that would be cool if it folded up or retracted, something like that

I wear a cotton beanie up the mountain (I refer to it as my cotton helmet), and I wear a full face coming down.

The bruise on my right cheek says I should have been wearing a full-face on Mormon today, but at least the top of my head was protected.
Moosen! I saw a flock of MOOSEN! There were many of ‘em. Many much moosen. Out in the woods…in the wood-es…in the woodsen.
