    Helmet poll...

Curious what helmet y'all are using these days?

I'm coming from Specialized M1 helmets that I've been using for years... finally broke another and the new Specialized helmets seem specially higher in prices...

I realize its mostly about what fits best...

As a fellow XC / All-mountain rider... (I ride a Ciclon), not looking for a full face, are most of you riding AM specific helmets like the Flux, Xen, Variant, or are you wearing more of a traditional road, XC race helmet?

    Thanks.

Bell Variant, before that Bell X-Ray.
Switched for the lower head protection that the Variant gives.

I have a xen and it fits nicely. The only weird thing about it is my sunglasses hit the wratchet system in the back. Does anyone else have this issue?

I too wear a Xen. I recently puchased some Oakley flax jacket sunglasses that rode too high becuase of the helmet system. Easy fix is to wear the glasses on the outside of the helmet straps. I find the glasses fit more snug this way too.

Specialized S-Works - so light, comfy, and breathable...
In the matte black color it is very stealthy and the removable visor makes it look nice on the road or trail. It doesn't get in the way of any sunglasses, and the shape is perfect for my head.

fox flux. i find the large fits me perfectly. I was always between sizes for giro, and specialized mediums sat too high on my head.. and the larges wobbled around too much.

I have a Bell X Ray (been sporting this lid for 3+ years).
I also have a Giro Switchblade that I sport sometimes (extra cold out or trying bigger jumps).

Uvex XP 100. Like a Flux but matte black, lighter, and only $31 when it popped up on Chainlove.

Thanks for the all responses. I've had a chance to do some helmet shopping. After trying on everything multiple times, the Bell Sweep seems to be the ticket for this round.
