Check out the Uvex Bladenight it's on closeout now for $35, I paid $100 for mine last year.

I just ordered a spare for me and one for a riding buddy.

It is the best helmet I have ever worn, it has an adjustable inner strap (like a hard hat) that you can change on the fly. The chin strap is also adjustable on the fly.

It's got full coverage in the back with no pointy protrusions.

Plus it's made in Germany (not China) if it makes a difference to you.

It only comes in one size so if you have an unusually large or small head it may not fit well.

Or go to www.uvexsports.com and search for Bladenight.

    Not Giro, but...

...in the new issue of MBA, Cambria has the Bell Influx for $24.95. Probably an older model, but mine's an '03, and it works just fine. It's a great helmet. The retention system works great, and the helmet doesn't look geeky, considering how inexpensive it is.

Problem is, I can't find it on the website. It's in the hotboxx section in MBA.
