    Which helmet camera? under 150$

Im trying to get myself a helmet camera so I can work on my video editing skills and make some ride videos. I know a lot of people recommend the go pro, but i cant afford the HD. I was wondering if the Gopro is worth double or some cases up to 4x as much as the other cameras out there with similar resolutions. Heres the cameras I am considering, So if anyone has experience with any of these Id appreciate some feedback. Feel free to offer me better links or cameras. Thanks

    GOPRO wide helmet hero

I like that its 5 MP but not that its 3 AAA batteries

    Oregon Scientific

Im not too familiar with the brand and am unsure how the quality compares to the Gopro and im not a fan of the AA batteries either

    The ebay special

my friend showed me this one. Its supposedly got higher resolution that the oregon one. 720 x480 and its got rechargeable battery and the price is real cheap, but idk how good this one actually is.

so please any suggestions or feedback would be a huge help

The gopro is specifically designed for your need so it's ruggedized, waterproof, and has the wide angle lens which is key for helmet cam footage. You can find the standard def camera super cheap, from the people who are upgrading to hd, if you're willing to go used.

Also consider that with the gopro there are bunch of mounting accessories available so you have a lot of options for different types of shots without having to hack together something. Then if you want to upgrade to the HD later all the accessories will be compatible.

Go with GoPro, ATC2K is a waste of money.
Video from ATC2K is so shaky and blurry, you'll get sick watching it.
