    Helmet Cam Video

Its my first attempt, the music is a little choppy, but it turned out pretty good. Anybody have a place I can post it??? It's 47 mb, window media file. If you just want me to e-mail it to you, drop me a PM with your address.

Good stuff craigstr! That trail looks like so much fun!

Did I spy a little blood on the leg in the last <:20?

Aim looked a bit funky-crooked which was kinda fun on the bench-cut stuff- looked like all the trees were leaning to one side until you reached the next switchback. Aim is always the hardest part.

Had me stoked to ride, obviously a very fun trail... two thumbs up!

PS, if you want to export a higher-quality/larger file, you are welcome to upload it to my site. You'll need some kind of FTP software (plenty of free options) Let me knoe if you are interested and I can PM you the log-in info.

    Thanks FM

Thanks, I appreciate the offer. Yes the aim is the hardest part. Yeah, my buddy nailed his knee on his stem when he stumbled getting on to that little bridge. The part that has the transition in the middle had us come screaming around a corner and there were two people on Horseback right there, horses werent scared though, but I thought I'd cut it out. Editing the video seems fairly easy, but the music is a pain. Glad you enjoyed it.

Craigstr, nice video. Looks like a super fun trail. Looking forward to seeing the next one. You should definitely take FM up on his offer. He's got the compression / picture quality thing dialed in.

    Yep. its all downhill

Its the end of a loop, its about a three mile downhill. You could climb up it, but we do a big loop.

    Terrific action, Craigstr!!

Plain cool! That's some nice singletrack down there. Twisty... yummy!

I like the part where the guys with the camera (your pal?) cuts a turn going over the rough!

It looks - to the trianed eye - like you were hauling arse down the trail, but funny how the camera makes it look like slower.

    Cool stuff!!

    Camera tricks

Yeah the camera plays tricks on you. The uncut footage was 12 minutes long because we had to stop to let some horses by, thats where the transition is, but it seams like it only takes 4 or 5 minutes to get down. I had to cut the resolution way down to post it, that video in the highest resolution, with music, was over 500 mb. If you watch it in high res, you really get the sensation of speed.
