    He needed a full face and/or better tires/tire pressure. A BMX helmet wouldn't of helped him.

    Helmet? But why? Good question. As noted above, a bmx helmet would not have made a difference.
    It looked like his front wheel collapsed on impact.
    Kids, remember to check your spoke tension every ride!!!
