661 is really good stuff. Also Fox makes good helmets, but if you want a multi-impact helmet, go fiberglass. They are a little heavier, and no vents, but a DOT rated brain bucket will save your valuable head.

I have a 661 Flight and I swear by them. Really sturdy, looks dope, protects your dome. The only thing to get used to is the weight, they weigh significantly more than traditional CPSC certified helmets.

Also have the 661 flight and love it.(i think its a 2006 i dont remember though) There is a deffinite weight diffrenence but it never bothered me at all. BTW there arent really an true mulitimpact helmets out there. Any helmet that uses foam as the cushion(almost of all of them do but there are a few that are "multiimpact" that use something else i think) isnt going to be mulitimpact as once the foam becomes compressed then it has done its job and if worn again then in the next crash it wont offer any cushioning cause its already been compressed...

i have a fox v3 race DOT and SNELL helmet and its not too heavy, its very comfortable, and its got a lot of protection. I havent crashed with it yet either. It weighs like 2.9 pounds and i got mine for $160. MSRP is $375

only other downside is they are alittle hotter because to be DOT certified they limit the number of vents thats its allowed to have. This being said I havent really found that a problem either...

not really, the 14 vents reduce strength a lot.

I should have made that more clear which 661 helmet? should i spend a lot and get a good helmet, or get a desent helmet and just replace it sooner. Is a 661 flight to big to much to ride with.

oh, sorry, I wasn't making fun of your sponsorship, I was just making fun of the way you spelled sponsorship as "sponcership"

I thought my 661 Flight was going to be way hot at Northstar last season but it was fine. I even kept it on during lift rides to prevent sun burning my face.

It's not exactly cool, but not mega hot. I give it a decent rating.
