    Grippy shoes

I have some sidi's, and love them, but when walking on rock, they are a bit slippery. I'm going to Moab soon, and am looking for some shoes that are going to provide some more grip. Should I get some shoes that look more like hikers, or are there some other shoes that have a sole that grips rock well.

I like the Lake MX160's vibram sole, really good if you've got to scramble off the bike...on sale at Nashbar for 75 bucks last I looked...they're lace with velcro, tho...

Check out the Northwave shoes. Performance has the Iguana in limited sizes on sale for $89.98 from $234. I got the Next model up, called the Stealth, looks identical but adds a Ti stiffning plate, and really like the fit and the grip on hard pack and rocky surfaces. Find a 20% off cupon code and it's a great deal!
    Nothing to see here.

2nd the Lake shoes, I really like mine and they have been really durable. Also, check out Answer shoes- the Impact also has a rubber sole that has some grip and they are stiff, high-end shoes like the Lakes. Nashbar has the Answers.
