    Great experience with Bell helmet

I just wanted to share a story of a company that really treats its customers well. I have a Bell X-ray helmet and have been very pleased with the fit of it. I use it daily for commuting and on weekends for road and mountain riding. Unfortunately one day at work the visor popped off and was nowhere to be seen for the ride home. When I got home I emailed Bell to see if I could buy a new visor. 12 MINUTES LATER I received an email saying that the visor was going to be shipped the next day! Saturday I received a new visor for nothing but the price of an email. I am very impressed and would gladly recommend Bell in the future.

Ive got one of their new helmets: The Influx. Its really nice and fits my oversized head better than any helmet in that price range.

Good story about a good company.

I recently had a good experience with the company as well. I had a crash in a singletrack race back in August which broke my helmet in two places (also an X-Ray) and ended up with a dandy little concussion which would have most likely been catastrophic without the helmet. I emailed Bell and was told in a response from customer service to send my broken helmet in along with a brief letter describing the crash and a check for $20 to a certain address and was given an ID number for my helmet. I was instructed to choose my top three color choices for a replacement X-Ray.

A new helmet arrived about a week later and a letter stating I had been "misinformed" by customer service about the price and that I should have sent in $35. Bell said not to worry about it and next time around if I utilize the crash replacement program to pay the full $35.

In both of our cases - that's just good business by Bell and more than likely will retain us as long term customers for their products based on the small investment they made in us.

    I can't complain.
