    Got new shoes :D

Instead of buying a new drive train (XTR flippy shifters, rapid rise derailleur), I chose to spend my Christmas money on a pair of new shoes.

Here are a few pictures of my shoes They seem to fit me well in the store, but does anyone actually have experience with them?

Who says material things don't bring happiness??

Got'em, like'em. Hard to believe mine were that purdy about a year ago, sniff. I got these cause they were all black & not some fruity collection of colors. (not that there's anything wrong with that)
I wanted to try a simi-racy shoe, & they weren't too expensive, although oddly, I never see them discounted.
Shimano's fit my feet quite well, & I'd buy the next model up, if they weren't silver/grey/whatever.(Carbon insert's supposed to be stiffer, maybe good / bad ?
Despite scuffs scrapes & mud, they've held up well.... I'd buy them again.

    Ye... what he said....

I have had mine for atleast 9mnoths and they are still perfect besides the scuffs and scratches. I would happily buy them again.

Sweetness I read the reviews on this board, and they seem to all agree the ratchet rips off easily. I guess its just because of the few ppl that tend to crash often.

No crashes for me, but I cnatell I have hit them against rocks at very high speeds and they are only slightly scratched.

What pedals are you using with them?

Time Aluminums....Haven't had a problem with them yet. So I dont really see the need to upgrade to anything else.
