    Good shoes for platform pedals??

Im using some crank bros 50/50xx pedals...and while they have greatly increased my confidence on the bike due my foot no longer slipping off...the soles on my shoes are getting torn apart from the pegs. What types of shoes are platform pedal people using?

Jordans, Vans, Chuck Taylors. Anything that doesn't have a large lug pattern. Hiking boots tend to get hung up trying to shift position.

check out any company that makes skateboard shoes. almost all of them now have a BMX line which are designed to better grip the pedals. vans, nike, and several others have awesome models.
