Yeah, that seems to be the tradeoff- you'll sweat like a pig, but if someone dropped a bowling ball on your melon, you probably wouldn't feel it.
Now go home and get your ******* shinebox.

Thanks Commander. It's just what I needed. I already have a 100 watt sub-woofer in my wingnut pack and I'm converting my GPS unit to a high-def Blu-Ray disc player. Do they offer a model with an HD satellite dish mounted up top?

This would also work well for my iPod mounted to my handlebar. I always thought that my movies I watch while on the trail were lacking something. I think this may be the something I was looking for!

New this year, there are height extension speakers as well--where shall those be mounted? hmmm--perhaps atop the suitcase sized HDcorder--or better yet, 1 atop each counter weight.

Without Surround Sound 7.1, it's silly to watch iPod movies while riding. You need Surround Sound to really appreciate the movie, and to drown out car horns.
