    Full Face Helmets

I recently had brain surgery to remove a tumor that was located in the back of my skull, and so now I want to get a full face helmet to cover the area of the surgery. What recommendations do you all have. And also who manufactures "the" (fenders, helmets, pads, etc.)

I've had the Giro Remedy for 2-3 years and it's the only helmet I wear now.

If you're interested, I'm selling my Specialized Deviant. It's very light & breatheable but I found out the expensive way that I'm just happier with a standard lid.

There are soooo many choices it's as bad as asking what is the best bike. TLD, EVS are a couple big players in safety.

Another vote for the Specialized Deviant. It is as close to an all-mountain full face helmet as you are going to get these days (at least that is for sale in the US).

I ride with it for aggressive XC, Freeride and some light DH. It is the lightest, best vented full face I have ever ridden. That said, its still a full face...

The best full face I have ever had is a crabon Troy Lee D2
Light, strong and looks great. Get yourself an appropriate hydro pack ( I have a Dakine ) and you can carry it up the hill

I have a 661 full face comp. Cheap. Light & fits me well.

If you're looking for maximum protection look at their DOT approved helmets.

Also, on chainlove.com sometimes if you're lucky they will post the 661 Bravo Carbon helmet up for sale for $100! That is a steal!

Make sure you try before you buy. Some makers run these helmets funny. For instance I use a medium xc helmet while my motorcycle and my 661 full face are larges.
