This is out of control. Use the search. Maybe we need a helmet sticky.

I chose the Giro of the 2 choices, hard to ask others, cause all our noggens are different shapes, i dont fit at all Bell helmets.... I got a 661 full carbon, its good. Wanted as RiDe66 mentions a TLD Carbon, but am not going to order one online until I have tried one of those puppies on....

I used to have a Giro Remedy, was a good helmet.. Just got a hell deal on the 661

Choose the one that fits YOUR scone the best..

    Again with the helmet posts???

I will chime in once again. A full facer is a full facer and they work, period. I am not a rich man so I picked up the Azonic Fury and love it. It has saved my face twice so far in the past two weeks. The face plant I took yesterday scared the hell out of me. All I could think of as I went over the kicker into the burm was.... where the hell is my bike??? And about that time the ground (which was full of 1-2 inch rocks) came rapidly toward my face. I ended up landing on the right side of my face into the burm and that is the only part that hit first, then my body coiled over my head and then over the side of the burm. My jaw is a little sore (I did not have the helmet buckled) so the helmet hit my jaw, and that's it. The Azonic fury on the other hand is a little banged up, the rocks scratched the hell out of it, but it is still solid. And I can honestly say this helmet saved my life, or at least my ugly face. I have taken spills, but that one was the worst.

So back to the helmets,.... just get one and wear it. The fury is a little warm if you are not moving; I have never tried the Remedy. Price wise you can't beat the fury.

Oh.... if you are one of those that likes pristine gear, the fury gets scratched very easily. It is painted with some sort of flat black paint that scuffs very easy. Just from laying in the back if the 4-Runner.

I have had both and will say the Azonic was way to Flexy for me to trust it on my head. It is a nice looking helmet though. I have a Giro Remedy now and love it!!! It is lite but almost like most of all my old Moto Helmets.

    My vote is the Remedy!!!!
    Ride!

The only thing I don't like about the remedy is the buckle. XC stlye snap buckles don't work very well IMO. The reason being is that they get set once and after a while they start to move and loosen and doesn't get reset, thus causing a loose fitting helmet. With the traditional dual D-ring setup, it gets readjusted every time it gets put on.

Bell Bellistic. I've had three now. They have saved my sorry butt each time I destroy one.

There should be an entire sub-forum dedicated on what to wear

Love my Deviant. Can't justify TLD.

Of your choices I've only tried on the Remedy and I likey.
But even a lousy downhill run is better than a day in the office!

The "MTBR Fashion Forums". It would have two subforums: "Pret-a-Porter*" and "What Colour Bike Parts?"

    * Ready to wear, for those that don't understand French or are too young for the movie.

I had to go to IMDB to find that obscure reference, bravo
    http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0110907/

    4.7/10 ouch harsh rating

There really ought to be a place that the mods can send all of these what helmet/what glove/what shoelace. There's at least 1, if not 3 active ones... on all the forums

The Remedy is always the budget favorite, and people always claim the deviant adaquately protects your melon blah blah blah...
