Fox Sergeant Shorts -- Cool looking, not sure about the liner

Finally broke down and bought a pair of Fox Sergeant Camo Shorts. Love the way they look BUT...... when I put the liner on, it felt like I would end-up with some crazy chaffing, so I balked wearing them and used another liner.

Has anyone else had an experience/problems with the Fox liners ? Please Chime In

Fox Sergeant Shorts -- Cool looking, not sure about the liner

I had a pair of Sergeants for ~4-5 years. They held up well. Never used the liner. I never use the liner in a MTB short. If I have a choice, I'll buy them without. I ride with bibs underneath: Pearl Izumi or Voler. Much more comfortable.

I had some too but always wore bibs underneath.

The liner is the only part of the Sargeant short I liked - nice and low profile.

Felt like... Or did end up with chaffing? Do you butter? I was bib resistant for a year, wasted all kinds of $ on shorts/liners, yep they suck. Now I'm in SL Pro/Expert bibs... Wow what a difference. Like wearing an air conditioner.

    I tried baggies,
All they did was make noise and get in my way,

I must be doing it wrong.....
