    Fox Racing Launch Pro

Was on the fence over what level of protection I wanted and as much as I wanted to balance comfort, I kept leaning towards better protection and went with these.

Today was my first ride on an advanced trail in a long time and was surprised at how comfortable they are. This trail was very technical and switchy requiring lots of body movement and there was absolutely zero slipping. Once moving I forgot I was wearing them. Two thumbs up!

I've been looking at these for a while. Can you post a pic with them on?

Thanks! You think those elbow guards would fit under a 3/4 shirt sleeve?

I would think easily as long as the sleeves aren't really tight. I did 9 miles today. Wore the elbow pads over a long sleeve T...didn't slip once. Hard to tell in the pic but my shorts easily cover the knee pads when standing. The elbow pads have a built-in sleeve.

I appreciate the photos and information. Wonder why they don't put a leg sleeve on the knee/shin guards too.

I can only assume that maybe because it would be a bitch to get them on over pants. I wear compression sleeves on my knees anyway so the absence of a leg sleeve is a bit moot for me

Can you share the specific name/model for these and where you got them? When I search Fox Launch Pro, I get some soft looking knee pads.

    Thanks,

    JA

Well I got to test these things the hard way and I can say that they work quite well. I've taken four spills with them so far. One was so hard I'd have likely broke in my arm had it not been for the elbow pads.
