flat pedal shoes like five ten freeriders?

I've ridden freeriders and liked them alot. Now I've been on Teva links that are about trashed (they stopped making them). Wondering about other shoes that are similar is overall design, level of protection. I could get freeriders again, but seeing if anything might be cheaper out there (got the tevas on sale for like 35 bucks over a year ago).
    thanks.

There may be some cheaper options out there, I don't know. But the FiveTen Freeriders are awesome. As far as performance, I don't think they can be beat. They look cool, fit great, and the soles are super sticky and stay put on the pedals. Flat pedals? FiveTens. Always. For cross country I prefer to clip in because of the stiffness of the soles of high end XC shoes.

Got the Zoic Prophet shoes directly from their site. Decent shoes with sticky soles but not as sticky as Five Ten. Been riding with the Prophet for a month and its not overly stiff and has good pedal feel. Wouldn't wear them on park days. My Five Tens are for park days or techy trails, the Prophet for normal trail riding. BTW, they are $45 on the Zoic site.

I use these, much better fit (for me) than 510.

Have you ridden these yet? Read up and I may need to check these out. Seems like some good tech there.
