    Favorite shoes for platform pedals?

and where do you buy them?

I can't seem to find anything I like in a size 10 anywhere. I need a really stiff sole for riding but still comfortable enough for hike a bike sections and of course that one time I discover a goats head patch.

    Thanks

I will second the 5-10's. Great shoes made for platforms.

Another vote for the FiveTens. Super sticky sole that is tough to beat.

I just wear my regular Reebok sneakers. With these pedals I could wear hard soled dress shoes

    No moss...

Keen newsport sandals - you can find pretty much at any online shoe store.

The sole is stiff and yet a very comfortable all-around shoe.

    Good job! 5-10's..

The best shoes that you can wear with platform pedals are 5-10 Impacts.
They don't slip off the pedals, they are fine for walking in, especially over wet rocks and roots if you have to hike-a-bike. The soles have a very special rubber that grips like nothing else currently available.
They are tough, wear well, and last a long time. Unlike a lot of other "sneaker" and runner type shoes, these 5-10's are made specifically for biking on platform pedals. Most of the Pro's wear 5-10's simply because they work.

dont laugh but my NIKE zoom BB street(because I could get them in all black) have a sole that my FUNN Solejam absolutely feel like they are clipped in.
Actually these pedals grip is incredible.
The sole of thh NIKE is super gummy yet supportive

Yup, 5-10 Impact. Use them on my Blur with platform pedals. Special note, when the soles lose some of their sticky, send 'em through the washing machine and they'll be like flypaper again (air dry though).
