    "Enduro" jersey

Can anyone tell me who makes jerseys like these enduro riders are wearing? Most of the 3/4 sleeve jerseys I have seen have a loose fit at the elbow. https://flowmountainbike.com/wp-cont..._o-600x350.jpg

    OP,

I'm not sure the previous poster got your question. You are talking about race-fit, almost spandexy jerseys, like what Graves wears.

My answer is I don't know. I see that Yeti sells what they call an enduro 3/4 sleeve jersey with a "slim, race fit." But I can't tell if it's actually the same as what the racers wear.

When I started seeing those those jerseys I wondered if they'll get banned for racing, the same way spandex is banned for DH.

Correct, Yeti sells their "Enduro" jerseys which are the same ones the factory racers wear. They're a bit tighter fit, but people in the Yeti forum have said they're made of a typical jersey (not lycra) fit, and seem pretty durable thus far. You can find the jersey on Yeti's website or on competitivecyclist.com

If you have a jersey (or any other piece of clothing) that you like and it just has a hole in it, patch it.
Don't let it get you down, but there's a good chance you were an accident.

I'm surprised that more people haven't moved this way. Seems like if your entire race is spent at 20mph+, and stages and overall races determined by fractions and handfuls of seconds, respectively, aerodynamics would be a pretty important consideration.

But, I guess "looking cool" is more important than actually winning for most of the "competitors" in Enduro.

Yes, I agree. Especially after the flurry of attention this Spesh video got last year:

When someone throws a fit on the second step of the podium, then we'll see a ban on tight fitting jerseys.

(To be fair, she was 18 or so at the time, so I suppose I should let it go.)

Ah. Yes. Rachel Atherton. That was some pro-level idiocy.
