    Downhill pants

    Hi,

I'm looking to buy a pair of downhill pants for the first time for this season and I have a couple of questions about them.

Do the makers assume you will be wearing knee protectors underneath and make the pants baggy enough to fit over them?

Should you choose your regular waist size or pick a size up to allow for wearing knee/thigh protectors underneath?

Can anyone recommend any good brands? I've been looking at various No Fear and Troy Lee products thus far.

Thanks for any help you can offer.

I've got some Fox 180 Titan Motocross pants, there is plenty of room for shin pads. Light weight and comfortable.
