    downhill helmet cameras

Does anyone use helmet cameras (lipstick cameras) while downhilling and are there any problems u experience? –sore neck, broken helmet, duct tape looks shite! What are the most common helmet cameras used?- sorry I don’t have one. Doe you use the camera for home recreational use or for some professional reason? Are there any comments regarding helmet cameras and or suggestions to designing a compatible helmet.

Check the page. There you can buy Helmetcams !
Those are supposed as one of the best systems you can buy at a relative moderate price !
As far as I am concerned I have no personal experiences with that brand but some of my colleagues (pro-cameramen) have had some and where very pleased !

    I second the Viosport camera

Dave O. is super cool over at Viosport and has created a system that is easy to operate, and works directly with most camera's, just plug it in with their unique wiring harness, hit record, and off you go. As far as weight, the camera's themselves are hardly noticable on your helmet. You have to carry a big camel back or backpack for your camera, so if your not use to that....otherwise, if their good for all the top pro's to use in video's, NASCAR, FEAR FACTOR, etc., they must be good. Just my 2 cents.
