    O'neal

Oneal helmets come in a XXL. My head is 24" around and I wear an XL. Check'em out ...https://www.oneal.com/catalog/produc...products_id=34

Try the Azonic T-55. I have a big melon and the XXL fits me great.

I have a "melonesque" head that measures 7 5/8 to 7 3/4, depending on when I've had my most recent haircut. Never realized that I had a big head until I started looking for a bike helmet. The only good helmet I could find that fit me was the Troy Lee. I have the Sprocket in XL/XXL and if you can believe it, it was actually too big for me until I put in the fit pads.

Very nice helmet, extremely comfortable, not too hot (good venting as long as you're moving) and exceptionally well designed. Looks fantastic as well. Can't comment personally on the crash protection because I haven't yet crashed. That said, all the reviews I've read suggest that it is at least as strong as anything else out there. The downside . . . it is also expensive. Almost reduced me to tears when I had to pay for it.

Another option to consider . . . the Giro MadMax II. I would have bought one over my TLD (similar quality & protection but much less $$) but for the 04 season they only came in small and medium. I've heard that they're adding a large to the lineup and the Giro web site seems to confirm that. If the MadMax is being made in large, it isn't quite available yet to online sites and LBSs but with the bike shows coming up, it should be any time now.

    Hope this helps . . .

HAHA! Same here. I never realized how undersized my hands were either until I started looking for gloves. I'm 6'2'' and wear medium gloves and a 10 1/2 shoe. I feel slightly disproportionate.
