Do It Yourself Magnetic Tube Clip

Neither my Camelbak Classic or Ratchet came with a magnetic tube clip for securing the drinking tube. So I made my own!

A tutorial and blueprints are available too in case you want to make your own! Let me know what you think

Odd they aren't standard on CamelBaks. Even my big box stores cheapy has a decent system built in

Well, some Camelbak's more expensive packs, such as the Mule, come standard with the magnetic clip. But cheaper ones like the Classic, Rogue, Ratchet don't. You get what you pay for I guess.

That was kinda my point, the no name pack, at the cost of less than an entry level CamelBak comes with the features of the high $ offerings.

I see now. No idea why they are cheaping out on such a nice feature to have. In my opinion the original plastic clip tends to align the tube too far down. Then your feet end up hitting it, which is super irritating.

Gotta start looking for yet another pack to test I guess.
