dude that thing is "beastly" to say the least, great job. Are you taking orders?

EDIT: you know I just noticed, after taking a closer look, it's not painted is it? you used some sort of sticker applique, correct? trippy, still good job.

    That's punker.

I like it... gaudy and sort of glam punk...

if the New York Doll's mountain biked, they would have worn helmets just like this...

of coarse they would have matching scarves...

I mean, of coarse they would have.

I think that any kind of radical helmet mod...

...is really not a good idea if you are planning on continuing to use it as a helmet
(Unless the mod is re-painting by a real helmet company i.e. Troy Lee).

The odd sticker is ok, too many and you may hide cracks, which is a bad thing safety wise.

Painting is not a good idea, either. If the paint(s) react with the helmet material, it may also make the helmet unsafe
    (Unless repainted as noted previously).

It looks cool for a showpiece but nothing I would would ever use for real riding anymore.

    Just my opinion.

    J/k
But there are also some sticker glues that will break down a helmet's composition. But you probably checked all that out before you spent 4.5 hrs applying it, right?

Yes, i checked with N.A.S.A before buying the glue from them, they said they used it on their astronaut helmets and it work good for mine too

maybe you hit your head really hard already, and the resulting brain damage produced this helmet as your scatterd thoughts tried to figure a way to hide the ugly cracks in the helmet caused by the previous incident....

    could happen

    Nice

That's one cool helmet. I just have just three things to say, thunder, thunder, thunder cats.
I may be off a little bit, but if you wear it with red tinted goggles you probably won't be mistaken for someone else, or normal for that matter, but who the heck wants to be mistaken for normal.

Thanks for the compliments, i gather the uptight vibe to, but whatever the helmets a love/hate thing i guess.

This isnt paint, its actually a heavy duty felt material i picked up at the craft store. I got some tacky glue and glued it on. took alot of time matching up the vents and everything, it really came out well. even if you guys hate how it looks ect, you atleast have to appreciate how well it came out

no, that'd take alot more brain damage, the type where you'd hear a swishing sound everytime you turn your head suddenly...

    oh, and good job btw.

Sheena Easton would be stoked on that thing.

Exactly what kind of fabric did you use? I want to see if I can find a pattern that emulates le texture de scroat. I think it would be really intimidating.
