    "Cool" Road Gloves, any suggestions?

I recently moved, unpacked, and found to my dismay that the movers either lost or stole my cycling gloves, which I LIKED A LOT!! Had them since '99. They had gel on the palms and I believe gel on the palm portion by the joints where your finger meets your hand.

Had terry cloth along the thumb and a bit along hand region to wipe of sweat.

Can anyone recommend a pair(s) that keeps your hand relatively cool. These gloves were open fingered...those are the only style I am interested in.

Sadly, I can't remember who made them!

This model http://www.mtbr.com/reviews/Gloves/product_122405.shtml sorta remind me of my old ones...

It seems that the newer gloves are using microfleece instead of terry for wiping of sweat, is the microfleece as good as terry?

I only spent $25.00 at my LBS for them.

My price point is nothing higher than about $30

    Specialized

I've had great results with specialized gloves. I wear the Pro road gloves and they are comfortable breathable and just downright well made. I ride a little over 130 miles a 5 day week
