    Compression tops and bottoms?

This is my second season DH riding, and as I get more courage, I'm realizing I think I want to not have such bulky protection.

I wear a TLD external plastic shell, knee guards, and a leatte brace. I had tried an under-jersey type body armor, but man, I could not move in it.

I've also been giving some thoughts on compression tops and bottoms, not only for protection, but to help with muscle fatigue.

Any thoughts on these? Any good vendors for this stuff?

I have a bunch of 2XU compression stuff I use for biking, running, lifting, and as a base layer for skiing. Most of the stuff I have I bought for deeeeeep discounts from the 2XU site.

My favourite bike shorts are 2XU (and I have a wide variety of bike shorts and bibs, some of which are $$$$$). I run and work out wearing 2XU compression wear and find (especially with running) that I am way less injury prone.

Others I know hate wearing compression clothing and believe the hype is BS.
