Clothes from Deal Extreme? Good? Bad?

So, I need some riding clothes...I ride in a t-shirt and basketball shorts, and that's not really practical haha (really missing the pockets on the jersey)...so...has anyone ordered anything on Deal Extreme? Looks like some wicked deals...I'm guessing they're not genuine/official products...or are they? But are they good enough quality to be worth the price?

    Something like this:

Giant Team Short Sleeve Bicycle Bike Riding Suit Sports Clothes Set (Size-L/168-176cm) - Free Shipping - DealExtreme

    Thanks

although a price looks tempting, a quality of a fabric might be questionable.

PricePoint has a cycling clothes sale now, so does JensonUSA and many other reputable online stores. Also you could find a good deal on ebay for quality items (some closeouts
    or NOS).

I'd stay away from Deal Extreme on this.

In the end what you wear will contribute to how enjoyable your ride was

I've had friends order the knock off team kits from China. It takes awhile to get them, as do items from Deal Extreme, but they say the quality was reasonable for the price. That being said, a good pair of riding shorts goes a long way to make your cycling experience more comfortable.

Rode with a guy who was raving about his cheap shorts and jersey from Deal Extreme. Don't know exactly which ones he had though.

Sweet, thanks...I'm actually only interested in the jerseys (still a good deal at that price) and the long pants, the shorts are just a bonus, probably gonna wear under my usual board shorts...

Oh yeah, as for the time, I'm not worried, I'm going home (to Canada) in 4.5 weeks and will be there for 1.5 weeks, so as long as they get there in 6 weeks I'm happy

I have a set of the Specialized-branded jersey/pants. For the price, great item. They're much nicer in person than I thought they would be, and are holding up well.

    Wicked to hear, thanks!

I'm thinking two Giant short sleeves (would like a bit of variety, but none of the other designs really jump out at me and I ride a Giant) and a Shimano short sleeve (all come with shorts/pants) should be around $110...for everything, that's not bad
