Cheap Troy Lee knee/leg armor ...

I've done some searches and found these ...

    http://www.jensonusa.com/store/produ...nee+Guard.aspx

... for $18. Do they compare with the $50 Combat or other / more expensive leg armor? Really wanting to find something that doesn't move around. It's hard to believe that these could work well at such a low price.

Also, any suggestions on armor for the arms? Thx.

    Race Face vs TLD

Race Face Rally ($47) vs TLD Combat ($49). Is there a clear cut diff? The Combat is one size fits all (does that exist?) then there is Standard vs Short ... ??? The Rally comes Sm/Med/Large ... Hard to choose.

I as well am looking for full length armor.
TLD Lopes is top on my list.

I wouldn't recommend the lopes guards. They stay on your knee when you are riding, but when you crash, they don't hold, and you will end up messing your knee up. The protection on the knee area is also small and doesn't really protect the upper knee. Just my opinion though, a lot of people like them.

or you could sew the velcro strap yourself for the knee portion OR use the leg portion of tights (like ballet tights, but definitely use black colored ones) to hold the up the knee part and cover your knee
