Can anyone Recommend a Video Camera with chest/helmet mount

Guy I am looking for a good quality (I don't mind paying for quality) video camera to start recording some of my adventures and posting them on youtube, etc...

Any ones you recommend. I figure the downhill guys probably know the most about these cameras. I would like to be able to mount on chest as well as helmet.

    Thanks for your input!

We've used an HD GoPro camera which works fairly well and is not very pricey. It's also waterproof and fairly shock proof. Only thing I don't like about it is the wide angle lens. It's good for capturing the surroundings and not missing anything, but I feel like the slight fisheye effect makes things look a bit less steep than they are (including waves, we've filmed in the water). Not sure how pronounced this is or if it's an issue for you.

Here's some footage from our first Whistler trip this season. Make sure to watch in HD.

    Good luck.

    This is what I use...

Great helmet cam, but a TAD heavy!!

The gopro is a great option. If you look around there are ways to change the "lens" on the housing, also super light which is a HUGE issue with helmet or location mounted cams. I've mounted the 7d a few times & the weight just creates much more bouncing. (Yeah, not for DH obviously...) The quality of the gopro is phenomenal for the price as well, pretty amazing for what you get.

I use a GoPro. Great for both chest and helmet mounts with a bunch of other options too.
