    CamelBak Warranty/Service

There have been a few threads floating around where people have inquired whether CamelBak still stands behind their products, and whether their level of service has slipped in recent years. I am happy to report that they do, and that it has not.

I broke my waist buckle in my truck door Sunday. I emailed Camelbak Monday. Today I received a new buckle. No bullshit involved. Couriered free of charge. I appreciate that the buckle is probably worth about 19 cents, but still.

And yes - similar stories about Osprey.

I own a Volt 13LR and a Skyline LR. My daughter owns a Solstice LR. I have owned 2 HAWGs and a Mule, and my daughter has owned a mini HAWG. All have been first rate, quality products.

So, for those of you who may be wondering, I am happy to report that CamelBak came through for me with zero BS. Whether you are an Osprey fan, a CamelBak fan, or any other fan, competition is good for all of us. And CamelBak is still very much a front runner, IMHO.

I agree, I have owned almost every pack out there and I always come back to Camelbak. They are the most durable, fit well and have what ever size you need. First rate quality. Especially love their new Low Rider series. Gets all the weight lower than most other packs. it is very noticeable.
