I have had the Fox Mojave's, and several different types of specialized gloves and I just got these b/c they looked better. I like em better too

I'm interested in this too. I just ordered some Izumi white lines, but are most of you wearing full fingered gloves? Or the fingerless ones?

I love these. It feels like you're wearing nothing on the top, and they've been bomb proof: Rocket Parts Spyder.

Do a google and you'll find some "professional" reviews.

    Specialized

I'm wearing these now. Got them cheap when an lbs was moving. I used to wear the Rocket gloves but they changed their design and the new ones didn't fit me as well. They're also relatively hard to find.

Help us out a bit and tell us what you are looking for in a glove.

    Full finger gloves?
    Temperatures to be used in
riding terrain (do you have to deal with cactus, thorns, sharp rocks...or just dirt?)
    price range
    material preference (leather, synthetic, other)

i'm not the original poster but...

I need new gloves as well...
first off i like some padding on my gloves
ive worn fingerless all my life, but im think about trying full finger
lots of sharp rocks here in new england, along with cold winters and hot summers...
looking for cheap gloves, i tend to lose things, can afford to lose expensive gloves
    no material preference

    ironclad gloves

i saw this on another bike forum. cheaper and better quality than many bike specific gloves. looks a lot like my expensive fox gloves (which are great btw).

Do you want gloves for warm weather or cold weather? You could buy one pair and sweat in the summer and freeze in the winter.

Warm weather for now. I live in Louisiana and we mostly ride in wooded areas. I'm unsure of weather I need full finger or not, so i was looking at the Pearl Izumi Greptiles so I could maybe get a feel for which I would prefer. I was also looking at the 661 Bagley's, but I'm not sure if they will be too hot or not.

We ride some slightly technical terrain, nothing too extreme atm though. Price range isn't a huge issue because of things like ebay and I'm not sure on what material i would prefer.

    Thanks for all the insight!
