    Black FF helmet?

Anyone have one? Do you feel the black shell makes it any hotter?

Looking at getting a Pryme AL helmet and want it to be as cool as possible. Some say color doesn't make a difference.

Black obviously attracts more rays from the sun. But I like the look.

    Thoughts?

A black car makes a difference. A black helmet, not so much. (Yes, I have one of each.)

From what I've read, the black shell doesn't make such a differences because of the foam underneath. Foam is a great insulator, and the added heat from the black shell doesn't penetrate the foam for that reason.

I will be going with a black Pryme AL then.

If You Gone To Buy One Get With Lots Of Vents As Gyro Or The Azonic Because I Have A 661 Lounch Matte Black Wich I Use For My Dirt Bike And Gets Hot As F....... And I Got Another 661 Bravo Graphit And I Am Waiting For The Summer Coms Here In Brazil To Tell You! Bottom Line Is Simple. If You Ride In A Hot Place Will Not Make That Diference If Is Black Or White, Will Get Hot Anyways Once You Pump Your Pedals, So Get The Black That Looks Badass.

Same....just get what you think looks good. Heat shouldn't be THAT big of a issue, especially since you're up in the hills rollin on a bike and workin' hard. Just make sure you stay hydrated.

Pryme AL is very well vented... has the most vents in any FF I've seen. That's why I'm buying it. The Specialized Deviant is close, but I've heard better feedback from the Pryme and it's cheaper.
