    Bibs

I know the question of bibs (spandex) or baggies has been tossed around a bunch but I rarely see anyone mention the reason why I wear bibs. I got tired of catching my baggies on the saddle, on a fairly regular basis, often putting me in a dangerous situation. One day I said F-it! I'm not out here for a fashion show so I'll just wear bibs and quit worrying about it. Never looked back; never been happier. I can always slide on shorts if I have to go "in public" after the ride. I can't be the only person who has difficulty riding aggressively in baggies?? I might be because every video on the Internet of people crushing it on hard-core terrain features riders wearing shorts loaned to them from the Cleveland Cavaliers.

I'm right there with you. Plus, bibs hide the crack. :-D

    Bibs, does not equal “spandex”.

Yep. Bibs here too. I got rid of my baggies. AFAIK, all my bibs have spandex (aka lycra) which is the elastic fiber that makes them stretchy.
    Do the math.

Yeah all my bid as well. Otherwise it would simply be shorts with suspenders

Bib tights and bib shorts. Been riding XC-trail for nearly 10 years.

I prefer not having the elastic waistband on normal Lycra

    Love the bibs!
