Best mens lightweight mountain bike jackets

I'm looking for a lightweight jacket for riding on the trails and sometimes road in mild temperatures.

    Features I'd like are:

Lightweight (good for riding when it's in the 40's)
    Windstopper front
    Thin/ventalited back and pits
    Snug fit
Long arm (thumb holes are a plus)
    Long back
    Full zipper
Cheap (I don't mind spending a decent amount though if I can find something with all the features)

    Any recommendations?

With all the features you want I think "cheap" is out of the question.

I'm looking at base layers too. Something like this is only $37: Salomon Midweight Zip Neck Top - Men's - 2014 Closeout
I would consider that cheap. Also this jacket is only $100: Novara Headwind Bike Jacket - Men's

I guess by cheap, I mean I don't want to spent a lot more than $100.

If you watch Steep and Cheap or Sierra Trading post you should be able to pick up base layers for less than $20.

This bike jacket has worked very well for me:

    http://www.amazon.com/Gore-Bike-Wear...ke+windstopper

doesn't fit all your criteria but:

zippered so you can wear it as a vest/jersey or as sleeved
    windproof
    bike pockets
    very comfortable

I have a gore windstopper mountain biking jacket and it works well for me. It is very warm and also keeps the water out well. I am 6ft7 and the arms / back are long enough for me.

For "mild" temps you might be better off without a jacket. I don't usually put on a light jacket until temps are in the lower 30s, and at that point it's really to keep the wind out more than anything. All the jackets I've tried get kind of steamy after a while, especially inexpensive ones.

At 40 degrees, I would think a couple wicking shirts would be more comfortable than a jacket. I generally ride these temps with a short sleeve shirt and arm warmers. You might want to mess around with what you have and play around with some basic base layer type stuff before committing to a more expensive jacket that may or may not pan out in the end.

Those are just some ideas to consider.

This is what I use. Its a Pearl Izumi jacket I got on a closeout deal at a bike shop. Its fuzzy underneath. I wear it when its in the low 60's. It doesn't have vents in the pits though.

I also have a Specialized windbreaker...but I find that its a bit too flappy when going fast.
