This one is hard to beat for the price http://www.jensonusa.com/store/produ...Ii+Helmet.aspx

The fox Rampage I think it is is really good. My friend and brother has one and is light, has good protection, and great airflow. The fox can be had for about $65 on chainlove.com

I am looking to pick up the 661 in a couple months to replace my motoX helmet I am using now.

bell bellistics can be found for cheap and they are comfortable and pretty light. It works out cause its the only one that fits my head.

I have both the 661 Comp II and the Giro Remedy. The Comp II is lighter and has better ventilation than the Remedy.

I like the bell bellistic. Really light (under 2 pounds) so it wont kill you on the uphill (im assuming you are using this for all mountain riding) It isnt DOT certified but it is CPSC so you'll be fine with it
Hardtail reduces consciousness to a primal state of reacting. Show me that full squishers.

try several on and see what fits best, get a little snug as the padding packs in slightly.

Since Christmas I don't have to wait a couple months to pick up the Comp II. Ordered it yesterday on Jenson for 73.99 shipped. I still like the Fox one my brother has but I think the 661 is going to be better.
