Sweet. Never had bar mitts (have generic pogees atm) but bar mitts was top of me Xmas list in bold letters to the wife since I got a fatty a couple months ago. I pretty much know im getting them, wife always gets my top of list at the very least. Now I know something that's going to annoy me and an awesome/cheap way to fix it. My current pogees basically I epoxied nuts inside end caps for odi lock on grips and a screw with retainer washer and added nylon (to keep screws from pulling through) through the pogees to hold them. Can't lie, work great for commuting and cruising but leaves something to be desired for movement on the trails.

    Thanks for sharing!!!

    pogies, guys. pogies.

I made my own from scratch last year (not a hacked up kids' winter coat - I chose the liner and shell fabrics, as well as the insulation and any do-dad add-ons). I am using magnets. I sewed rare earth magnets into each pogie and glued another inside the bar end caps for my ODI grips. I need to tweak the positioning a little bit on them, but they do the job well.

Not sure why your telling us to call them pogees?????

We are talking about bar mitts brand, so Bar Mitts brand pogees.

Never thought of using magnets, been meaning to get a stock of them cause they come in handy for alot of things

I think the point was the spelling...'pogies' vs. 'pogees'.

Ya that was my stupid phone, not like I really pay attention to spelling half the time. But that would explain why he corrected us lol. Pogies is now saved as the proper spelling so stupid autocorrect doesn't change it on me.
