Baggycasual short with built in liner ?
I have an old pair of Louis Garneau shorts. They are lighter and a bit higher hem than a lot of the baggy mountain bike shorts. The chamois is built into the short, and the material and feel are more like a bathing suit than a typical mountain bike short. The chamois is therefore looser, not nut gripping like a spandex type short or the awful internal liners of most MTB shorts.
They are lightweight and great for riding up to the gym and working out, jumping in the lake, or hanging out without spandex gripping your nuts..
Think of them like a light nylon bathing suit but instead of the little mesh liner its a secondary liner of nylon with a chamois.
I haven't been able to find anything like them.

Can anyone point me to a similar currently available product ?

Fox canyon shorts come in shorter lengths and have looser liners. For the most part it seems like mens mountain bike clothing is more about fashion than function now. My preferred baggy shorts now are the Troy Lee Ace shorts. The older models had mesh liner short that was somewhat loose.
