    Baggy short sizing

I'm planning to pick up a pair of Fox Ventilators and was wondering about the sizing. Does anyone know if they run big or small? I assume that if I get the same size as my jean size they'll fit fine but I wanted to double check

Why not buy them at a bike store? I'm sure they will let you try them on.

I second the advice of trying them on... along with the additional advice that IMHO Fox shorts suck.

whatever size jeans fit you snugly get that same size. i normally wear 34" waist jeans cuz i like my jeans a little loose, 32" jeans are bit tight on me, with cycling stuff you dont want stuff to be too loose so i usually buy size 32" fox shorts.

Thanks for the replies. My favorite LBS doesn't sell shorts and the other one near by has a pair that I like but are more than I want to spend on shorts ($100). I have bought shorts from LBSs but in this case it will be better IMO to buy online than drive to shop around (I hate shopping)

Anyway, I wound up going with size 34 since that's my typical jean size.

I think they run small - go figure. I normally wear 32's for pants but had to exchange my 32 Fox Ventilators for 34's.

I take a 34 pants, just got a pair of Fox shorts in a 36 and they fit fine. I would say the sizing is small...

I just received a pair of Fox Sergeant's in the mail yesterday and a 34 fit a "bit" snug. 34 is my usual size and I find that this particular model fits much truer to size than other shorts Iv'e worn. Pretty happy with the fit though. Good length and plenty roomy.

I tried a pair of fox shorts on at the store and didn't like the fit at all. Felt tight in the upper thigh to me compared to how the rest of the short felt. They didn't have the next size up in stock so I bought a different brand.

    really depends on brand imo.

Fox run slightly big imo, i wear a 34 and a XL was HUGE, but the inner shorts fit pretty snug.

Just bought a pair of LG Cyclo shorts and went with an XL again...this time, they fit pretty snug..the outer and inner felt smaller..
