    Atlas Air neck brace fit

I just picked up my first neck brace, and curious about a few fitment concerns:

    1. Do people use these without straps? This thing moves around without straps (up/down, but also forward/backward), so I can't see how people use it without straps.

    2. (the scarier issue) I can push the brace backwards to the point it hits my throat. I don't know if this is a possible crash scenario though because I've tried to mimic it. But is it possible to have a crash where the front of the brace can clothesline your throat?

I have an original Atlas brace and I always wear straps with it, just moves around way too much without straps. I've crashed with it on, and used the brace, and mine has never hit my throat.

You might need to try different length rear mounts to adjust how it sits on your chest.
