Anyone know of women's specific armor?

Sorry, I know it's been asked before, but I'm way to stupid to run the search function. My girl friend is sick of going over the bars, but has accepted the fact that she probably wont be stopping anytime soon. So, I'm looking for a chest protector for her. Anyone know of any womens specific stuff? Or if it's not "women's specific", just something that's a little more...chesty?

On the shore and at Whistler

you see lots of Fox Roost (hard plastic stuff) and Dainese Safety jackets. and other assorted makes and models. I guess you should get her to try a few on?

    Just my (male) .02, Jim

My wife just picked up a Dainese safety jacket ( the one with the soft chest). She's large in the chest and it fits her comfortably.

    if this ever comes out

if this ever comes out it will be sweet, http://www.dangergirldh.com/ is supposed to have female-specific DH body armor. No pics, prices or anything else yet, but a promise that it will be unveiled in March.

    Good Question

This is a good question, even for shin/knee pads. I just ordered medium Roach shin/knee combos and the things are HUGE. It's like wearing a knee brace. Maybe I just have to break 'em in, but damn they're big.

    My wife...

...also uses the Dianese safety jacket: Her's is the full plastic one with the spine protector. She used to have an x-small Troy Lee roost gaurd, but the Dianese fits here way better. She uses it on pretty much all her technical rides.

This is a new line of armor coming out soon from a woman rider here in Connecticut - I've met her - she's cool!

I keep holding out hope that it's going to be Conan-the-Barbarian style boob-cup armor with a lot of clevage showing, but I have a feeling that's not goign to be the case...

    yeah i got those too.
i'm male, but i'm thin, so they seem pretty big.
i still have my old medium 661 race knee/shins, and they're way smaller.
hopefully they roaches'll feel right after they're broken in..

That's what I had too, the 661's. They always slipped though. I guess the Roaches will be okay after a while.
As for a women's downhill jacket, I'm NOT wearing anything that looks like a Madonna Blond World Tour Costume.

Personally think that body armor should look like this

You're MAD! Now imagine that as some kind of wrap around diaper protection for guys and tell me how it would feel!
