Any issues with your Giro helmet?

I bought my Xen helmet about a year ago. I really like it. Good fit, good looks...anyways after my last ride I noticed that the plastic on the "Roc Loc' had broken. Did a search & found that you can buy a replacement, which I did. Just wondered if this is a common problem or if its just me?

I have a Xen and a Remedy. Both great lids, yet to have any issues with either. Good to know spare parts are available though. Thanks

Now that you mention it mine was doing that too, I guess my thought was that since the part was available maybe they were having a lot of failures.

The stupid adjuster dial on mine stripped partially (rounded off teeth) and it will skip if I tighten it too much. Good to know I can probably just buy the adjuster separately.

I got mine on Universal Cycles for around $10 bucks. Ordered some other crap while I was there and used the VIP10 coupon for 10% off .

Cloth covered pads inside come unglued. It's the sweat. I re-stick w/ a glue stick.

My E2's rocloc broke right there as well after a couple years. I called Giro and they sent a new rocloc piece free of charge. Also I actually had just moved and screwed up the address I gave them, I called back after it had already shipped and she sent out a second to the correct address. Great CS.
Every time I've called up Easton/Giro they've sent out a replacement part no questions asked.

after face diving 10 feet to flat after casing a jump, i noticed the visor on my remedy had snapped. I searched for replacements and found them for like $10 in any color or material. Then i just contacted Giro through email and they sent me a visor for free...

    did you email giro?

I've just sent Giro an email because I can't find the part I need anywhere. May as well see if they'll at least sell me the part.

I had a Hex that did that, but it should be noted that I fell on it hard enough to crack it...

Same thing here too. Irritates the hell out of me. Anytime I move the helmet on my head I can feel it pop out.
