Any bike shops around t.o. having a clothing sale?

Took a tumble a little while ago and noticed that my shorts have developed a tear in'em, not to mention my gloves are a bit beat too. Wondering if anyone knows of any shops around t.o. having sales on now regarding those 2 items.

    Thanks.

    MEC.
Their regular prices beat most stores sale prices.

I haven't been down to MEC in a long while now, how are their lycra shorts? Does it have a decent pad in it?

I haven't tried their own brand, but I've bought several pairs of Louis Garneau shorts there.

I've got several pairs of their most economical ones (cyclo @ $35) and the pad is not bad, I've been using them for seveal years with no big complaints. That being said, I have recently taken a look their more expensive ones (rapide @ $57) have a much nicer feel to the materials and I think those will be my choice for more shorts of that style, they look like they would be worth the extra $22...

Again, I'm not saying there is anything wrong with the cheaper ones, I think I'd just spring for the nicer ones now, people change I guess. :-P

    just my 2 cents

    Cheers,
