    Another use for a helmetcam

This is going to keep me amused until it's biking season again, I think.

All problems in mountain biking can be solved by going faster, except the ones that are caused by going too fast.

The screech is the wind and prop noise...

I've always wanted to do that! Pretty neat, now you need to pull some acrobats .

I have a few planes, haven't flown in 5 years though. I built a little .20 P-51 Mustang but never flew it. My house is about 1/4 mile from a flying field, need to get it running and start going agian. Hard to have more than one expensive hobby at a time though.

Right. I don't care what the source is. It needs to go away. Kill the native audio and put a soundtrack in if silence doesn't work for you.

Put something over the mic to cut wind noise....something.

While the POV is wicked cool, that screech absolutely kills the vid for me.

Some mic foam would work wonders. If that does not cut the audio down black electrical tape. Now all you need it to transmit the video back down while your flying and really open things up.

A lot of people fly like that these days. You generally need goggles and a 'spotter' to watch the plane if you lose contact or look like you're going to hit something. You can use servos to turn the camera to mimic your head movements.

    Lots of videos here:
